Beet Blend Contains- 20% Detroit Dark Red Beets, 20% White Albino Beets, 20% Golden Detroit Beets, 20% Bulls Blood Beets, and 20% Chioggia Beets.
When and Where to Plant- Sow seeds outdoors as soon as soil can be worked in spring. Seeds will germinate in 5-10 days. Select an area with loose soils and full sun.
Care and Harvest- Harvest anytime after the root reaches 1 inch in diameter or as desired. Twist off the leaves rather than cutting to prevent “bleeding” which causes less intense color and perhaps less flavor.
